The museum is owned and operated by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation. Exhibits include the history and the culture of the Tribe and other Tribes as well as a presentation of the region's natural history. The Research Center provides information for scholars and the general public on American and Canadian Native histories and cultures.
